The use for a floppy disk in today's tech-savy society is non-existent and are considered to be an obsolete media. Well not all uses are obsolete. London artist Nick Gentry found a creative way to keep it alive, however it's not for data storage but rather a canvas for one of kind master pieces.

Gentry's art is focused on obsolete media and the development of consumerism, technology, identity and cyber-culture in society. He is mostly known for his floppy disk paintings which are featured in many museum exhibitions all around the world. These are a few of his paintings.
