2D USB Drives for Museums and Artists
An Irish art collective had a brilliant idea to get more eyes on its latest multimedia show.
Entitled Repeater Data Dump, the art collective loaded a UBS business card flash drive with artist's work. It has music, photos, sound recordings, video and text from various artists. The virtual exhibit's theme questioned privacy in an increasingly digital world.
We have entertainment clients who distribute their work on custom flash drives — musicians, authors, poets, comics, filmmakers and performers. It is another layer to websites, online videos and social media feeds to place art into consumer hands.
Cultural institutions — art galleries, libraries, museums and theater groups — often come to us for USB drives. They often want promotional flash drives to promote cultural arts in the towns they serve. We have designed custom shaped, specialty USB drives for museums and libraries, too.

A history museum educator gave me the perfect definition of cultural institutions. The term, she said, "recognizes both what we are, tangibly, and what we hope to do, educationally. Other cultural institutions include libraries, art galleries, even community groups without a permanent physical public space but similar goals of preserving and promoting culture or the arts."
A group without a permanent space or street address still creates art and culture for their patrons. These groups give performers — often residents of those communities — an outlet for their creativity.
Help create a tangible representation of your art, music, performance or writing by putting those on a custom USB, so check those out. Logotech's account managers can help you discover what memory and style will best echo your style and create a memory.
